Josh Berg VP

Josh joined Atlantic Street Capital in July 2018 with a background in investment banking.

Prior to joining Atlantic Street, Josh worked for Piper Jaffray as an Analyst in San Francisco and focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, equity offerings, and restructuring transactions across the consumer sector. Josh graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California in 2016 with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Sameer Essa VP, Business Development

Sameer joined Atlantic Street Capital in 2023 with a background in corporate development, strategic finance, and business operations across publicly-traded, private equity-owned, and venture-backed technology and services businesses.
As Vice President of Business Development, Sameer supports platform sourcing and origination for Atlantic Street Capital. Sameer was previously an Operating Advisor at Atlantic Street Capital Advisors, where he worked directly with the leadership of several of our technology-focused portfolio companies to drive meaningful value creation through both organic and inorganic initiatives.

Previously, Sameer led M&A and corporate development at Idera, a global portfolio of B2B software businesses backed by TA Associates, Partners Group and HGGC. Sameer's prior experience includes leading business operations and strategic finance projects at Via, a publicly-traded transportation technology company. Prior to Via, Sameer supported corporate development and strategy efforts at Verizon Media, and started his career in investment banking at a middle-market M&A advisory firm.

Sameer currently lives in Austin, TX. He holds a BS in Finance and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.

Jess joined Atlantic Street Capital in June 2022 with a background in investment banking.

Prior to joining Atlantic Street, Jess worked for Truist Securities (formerly SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) as an Associate in the debt capital markets group, focused on levered debt financings for the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. Jess graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University with a B.B.A. in Finance.

Trevor Gillogly Senior Associate

Trevor joined Atlantic Street Capital in April 2024 with a background in private equity and leveraged finance.

Prior to joining Atlantic Street, Trevor was an Associate at Alvarez & Marsal Capital, a middle-market private equity firm with over $4 billion in capital commitments. He began his career as an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance group at J.P. Morgan. Trevor graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S.B.A from the Kenan-Flagler Business School.

J. Robert Heflin (“Robbie”) works on all aspects of the investment process across the firm’s industry verticals.

Robbie brings extensive industry experience, having previously worked at Alvarez & Marsal Capital, a middle-market private equity firm with over $4 billion in capital commitments, and The Jordan Company, a private equity firm with over $28 billion in capital commitments. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Healthcare Group at Deutsche Bank and holds a B.A. degree with Distinction in History from Amherst College.

Peter joined Atlantic Street Capital in December 2020 with a background in investment banking.

Prior to joining Atlantic Street, Peter worked for Cantor Fitzgerald as an Analyst in New York City and focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt financings and equity offerings across the healthcare services and life sciences sectors. Peter graduated from Yale University in 2018 with a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics.

Peter founded Atlantic Street Capital in September 2006 and is responsible for overseeing the full range of firm activities including deal sourcing, due diligence, execution, portfolio management, and administration.

Peter serves on the Boards of Brown's Medical Imaging, Anatomy IT, Uniguest Inc., and Dynamic Campus and was previously a Board Member of Alex Apparel, A Wireless, EZE Trucking, All Star Auto Parts, GAT Airline Ground Support, Inc., Double B Foods and Fleetgistics Holdings. Prior to founding Atlantic Street, he was a partner at North Castle Partners (a middle market buyout firm based in Greenwich, CT) from 1999 to 2006. Prior to joining North Castle, Peter was an attorney with Debevoise & Plimpton (New York and Paris) from 1991 to 1998 where he focused on leveraged buyouts and restructurings. He was also a consultant with ICF Incorporated, a national consulting firm, from 1985 to 1987. Peter received a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government in 1991. Peter received a B.A. from Wesleyan University in 1985.

Paul Sun Partner

Paul joined Atlantic Street Capital in August 2016 with a background in private equity and investment banking.

Paul works on all aspects of the investment process with a particular focus on senior management & development, deal origination, due diligence, acquisition financing and execution. He serves on the Boards of CyberGuard, Uniguest, Dynamic Campus, and Tambourine. Prior to joining Atlantic Street, Paul spent three years at Gridiron Capital, a middle market private equity firm focused in the tech services, business services, and specialty consumer product sectors. While at Gridiron, he evaluated and executed leveraged buyouts, assisted with portfolio management and worked directly with management teams to build successful businesses. Prior to Gridiron, Paul was an investment banker focused on advisory work and financing solutions for leveraged buyouts, M&A, recapitalizations and debt financings. Paul was elected into Beta Gamma Sigma and received his B.S., magna cum laude, in Finance and Accounting from NYU Stern.

Paul is a Co-Founder & Board Emeritus of Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit food rescue organization operating in 9 cities in the United States.

Prior to Stifel, Justin worked for Deloitte Corporate Finance (formerly McColl Partners) as an Investment Banking Analyst primarily focused on consumer and healthcare services. Justin graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Finance and B.S. in Economics.

Andy joined Mr. Shabecoff at the founding of the firm and serves as Co-Managing Partner. He sits on the firm’s investment, valuation and audit committees while overseeing all aspects of the firm’s investment and operational activities. He is responsible for sourcing, deal execution, due diligence, meeting operational milestones, capital raising and career pathing. Since inception of Atlantic Street, Andy has served on multiple Boards for the firm’s current and realized portfolio.

Prior to joining Atlantic Street, Andy worked at Audax Group's Mezzanine Fund, where he invested mezzanine and equity in leveraged buyouts. Prior to Audax, Andy served in the Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance Group of CIBC World Markets, where he financed leveraged buyout transactions for financial sponsors. Prior to CIBC, Andy served in the Mergers & Acquisitions/General Industrials Group of Bank of America Securities.

Andy received a B.A. in 2002 from The Pennsylvania State University.

Debra joined Atlantic Street Capital in 2021.

Debra Draughan is responsible for Atlantic Street Capital's investor relations and development activities. Her working relationship with the firm extends back to 2008 when she first assisted the ASC team with Fund II. For the last 30 years, Debra has been dedicated to the private equity industry and brings to the table substantial understanding of the inner workings of the institutional investor community. Prior to joining Atlantic Street, Debra was the Managing Partner of Top Capital Advisors, a FINRA member broker-dealer. Top Capital Advisors provides consulting and fund placement services to private equity fund managers. She holds nine securities licenses. Debra received her BA from Wesleyan University and her MBA from the Colgate Darden School at the University of Virginia.

Varun joined Atlantic Street Capital as Controller in November 2024. Prior to joining Atlantic Street, Varun worked for Fairmount Funds Management and Knighthead Capital Management where he served as the Management Company Controller and Senior Operations Analyst, respectively. He began his career at RSM US LLP where he served a wide client base including Private Equity Funds, Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds, Management Companies and General Partners, concentrating on the areas of Tax and Compliance. Varun holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baruch College of the City University of New York.

Prior to Atlantic Street Capital, she was a Coordinator at Blackstone where she supported the COO, a Managing Director, and two Principals. Prior to Blackstone, she worked at MUFG as a Sr. Specialist supporting the Chief Transformation Officer and his team. She has a Masters with a concentration in Human Resources from Keller Graduate School and a BS in Business, Management and, Finance from Brooklyn College.

Ellisa Park is the Controller at Atlantic Street Capital, where she draws on more than a decade of hands-on experience across the full spectrum of fund accounting and financial operations. She began her career at Meridian Fund Services (now MUFG) as a hedge fund accountant, developing deep expertise in fund structures and reporting. She then spent ten years at Cowen (now TD Cowen) as a Director, where she managed accounting and operations across a broad range of investment vehicles — including hedge funds and private equity funds. Ellisa holds a BBA in Accounting from Baruch College and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Brad Schwartz Chief Financial Officer

Brad Schwartz is the Chief Financial and Compliance Officer of Atlantic Street Capital, overseeing all non‑investment functions—including accounting, finance, compliance, operations, HR, and technology. With more than 20 years of experience in private equity operations and infrastructure design, he brings deep private equity and financial leadership experience. He most recently served as CFO/CCO at Encourage Capital. Prior to Encourage, Brad worked with Lincolnshire Management on their finance and accounting team and previously with JP Morgan Chase in Private Equity Fund Services. He began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young. He holds an MBA with distinction from NYU's Stern School of Business and a BS in Accounting from SUNY Albany. He is a NYS licensed CPA.

Brad also serves on the faculty at Columbia University's School of Professional Studies in the Sustainability Management program, where he teaches accounting, finance, and sustainable investment modeling.

Bryan Bevin Chairman

Bryan Bevin Chairman

Bryan joined Atlantic Street in January 2017. Prior to joining Atlantic Street, Mr. Bevin was the President and CEO of A Wireless, a former Atlantic Street Capital company, from 2013 to 2016.

He grew the store count from ~250 to 1150, and revenues from $199 Million to over $1 Billion dollars annually. He also led the successful sale of the business in 2016.

Prior to this, Bryan was Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations at The RadioShack Corporation from 2008 to 2011. In that role, he reported to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and was responsible for 6000+ stores and $4 billion+ revenue. Additionally, in that period, he oversaw three years of consecutive sales gains and tremendous growth in the wireless category, from $900 million to $2 billion in annual sales.

He also served in senior roles with AT&T Wireless running all company owned stores, local lndirect, as well as the companywide Real Estate and Construction and the Marcom functions. Previous to this, he served as a Managing Director for Interactive Telecom Solutions (UK Wireless Retail).

Mr. Bevin spent 11 years at Blockbuster in a number of capacities, progressing through a series of key leadership roles with significant experience in both domestic and the 26 international markets, latterly serving as Senior Vice President of North America.

He is a member of the Institute of Directors and a former member of the Board of Directors for both IMO and the Entertainment Merchants Association (USA).

A native of Manchester, U.K., he currently resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and two daughters.

Anthony joined Atlantic Street in April 2021. Prior to this, he was President of the global re-commerce division for Brightstar Corp, where he helped the division deliver record financial performance during the pandemic.

Previously, Anthony was President and CEO at Decluttr.com, a fast growth online buyer and retailer of consumer electronics and physical media products. At Decluttr, Anthony helped the business deliver its maiden profitability, and be included in the “Georgia Fast 40’ which recognizes businesses delivering the fastest rates of revenue growth in all sectors.

Anthony had previously led as Senior Vice President the US retail business turnaround for US Telecoms carrier Sprint, a multi-billion dollar business unit comprised of 5000 direct and indirect stores and 12,000+ colleagues.

A UK national, Anthony built his earlier career in UK Retail and Telecoms, growing and leading a number of UK businesses including Carphone Warehouse UK, Phones 4u, Exertis Distribution and Office World.

Anthony is based in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and two children.

Dimas is part of the Corporate Development team at Operating Advisors, supporting portfolio companies across industries with M&A execution and post-acquisition financial reporting. Previously, he was Director of Finance for a NASDAQ-traded global distributor, where he led several acquisitions, including a merger while overseeing corporate finance, SEC reporting, and FP&A. Prior, Dimas was a Manager in BDO LLP's Transaction Advisory Services practice, focusing on due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and process improvement for companies with annual revenues of $100 million to over $2 billion. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, is a CPA in Florida, and an inactive CFA charterholder.

Matt Gallop Operating Advisor

Matt joined Atlantic Street Capital Advisors in April 2026 as an Operating Advisor, where he works directly with the leadership of technology-focused portfolio companies to drive value creation through both organic growth initiatives and strategic acquisitions.

Previously, Matt led M&A and corporate development at Corsearch, a global SaaS and tech-enabled services business backed by Astorg Partners and Cobepa, where he focused on shaping inorganic strategy and executing transactions to expand the company’s capabilities and market reach. Prior to Corsearch, Matt was part of Bertelsmann Investments, where he evaluated and supported healthtech investments across stages from seed to buy-out as part of the investment arm of the $20bn global media and services group.

Earlier in his career, Matt was an Associate at RCP Advisors, a middle-market private equity firm, and began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Livingstone Partners, where he focused on M&A advisory across a range of sectors.

Matt lives in New York, NY. He holds a BS in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Washington University in St. Louis’ Olin Business School and an MBA with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Jessica joined Atlantic Street Capital Advisors as a Talent & HR Operating Advisor with nearly 20 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, and human resources leadership. She partners with portfolio companies to design and scale people strategies across HR, recruiting, employer branding, compliance, and fractional HR support, helping businesses build strong talent foundations that drive growth and value creation.

Her background spans retail, hospitality, call centers, transportation, business services, and technology. Previously, Jessica served as Director of Talent Acquisition for A-Wireless/VICTRA, a realized Atlantic Street Capital portfolio company, and Lori's Gifts, where she led enterprise-wide hiring initiatives, implemented scalable talent processes, and advised leadership teams on strategies to attract and retain top talent.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from the University of West Florida. In addition to her work with Atlantic Street Capital, she hosted her own podcast, Jess Get Hired, a top-rated career podcast focused on workplace trends and career advancement.

Kevin joined Atlantic Street in January 2017 with a background in operations and P&L leadership across private equity owned and public companies.

As an Operating Partner, Kevin works directly with portfolio company leadership teams to drive value creation and oversee the operations of particular investments. He brings over a decade of experience working with PE owned companies serving in executive roles and leading operational due diligence of prospective acquisitions. Kevin joined Cerberus Operations & Advisory Company in 2005 and held leadership positions across multiple Cerberus portfolio companies, including most recently, serving as an SVP & GM at Remington Outdoor Company, where led Sales & Marketing for the >$1B leader in outdoor space. Kevin began his career at General Electric and held positions of increasing responsibility across multiple GE divisions. He is a graduate of GE’s Experienced Commercial Leadership program and a Six Sigma Blackbelt. Kevin received a B.S. in 1999 from Vanderbilt University.

Jordan Gregory joined Atlantic Street Capital in 2022 and brings 5 years of progressive human resources experience across recruitment, talent acquisition, and organizational development. Jordan partners closely with legal counsel and senior leadership to manage executive transitions, ensure compliance with workplace employment laws, and work with portfolio companies on employee experience initiatives and recruiting key talent to drive business results. In this capacity, she supports leadership during periods of change, advises on sensitive HR and compliance matters, and helps shape people strategies that strengthen culture while aligning with business objectives.

She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Houston and an M.S. from Texas Tech University.

Jeff joined Atlantic Street Capital Advisors, LLC (“ASCA”) as a Senior Operating Advisor in January 2023. Jeff is focused on the technology platforms in the portfolio. Jeff has over 20 years of experience leading private equity backed technology companies, during which time he has led those companies through 3 successful exits and completed 18 acquisitions.

Prior to joining ASCA, Mr. Hiscox was the CEO of Uniguest, a portfolio company of Atlantic Street Capital, from December 2016 through December 2022. Jeff grew Uniguest from a US provider of hospitality kiosks to a global leader in digital engagement technology serving multiple end-markets including hospitality, senior living, education, corporate, stadiums, retail, and healthcare. Under Jeff’s leadership revenue grew greater than 3x, EBITDA grew over 5x, the team grew from 150 team members to 450 team members with a global base of operations and 16 global offices. Uniguest completed and integrated 12 acquisitions during those 6 years. Jeff serves as the Board Chairman for Uniguest.

Prior to Uniguest, Jeff was the President & CEO of Newmarket International a global leader in hospitality technology. Jeff was at Newmarket for 12 years, during which time revenue grew over 5x, and EBITDA grew over 10x. Jeff completed 6 acquisitions while CEO, and led the team through two exits, the last exit to Amadeus, a publicly traded global travel technology company out of Madrid, Spain. Newmarket was selected as one of the best large companies to work for in New Hampshire 5 years in a row under Jeff’s leadership. Jeff has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Prior to joining Atlantic Street, Karen served as Chief Merchandising Officer with former Atlantic Street portfolio company, A Wireless, where she was responsible for supply chain, merchandising, marketing, analytics and compliance.

Prior to A Wireless, Karen served as Vice President of International Operations for GNC, where she was responsible for the management of GNC franchisees in over 50 countries, and oversaw a 3x growth of the businesses EBITDA during a 2 year period with the company, helping to optimize production runs, supply chain and streamline processes and reporting. Before her time with GNC, Karen was Vice President of Commercial Operations for Best Buy.

Amy Mills Operating Advisor

Amy joined Atlantic Street Capital Advisors in August 2023 with two decades experience driving global business transformation across multiple industries at Fortune 100 and Private Equity-backed businesses.

Previously, Amy served in executive human resources roles for Empire Today and Pampered Chef, working to align talent and culture strategies with business and operational priorities.

At Empire Today, a Charlesbank private equity-backed company, Amy built talent programs to attract, develop, and retain employees, realizing multi-million-dollar savings while delivering increased ROI. At Pampered Chef, a Berkshire Hathaway company, Amy developed and led the culture and organizational health strategies to drive business results.

Amy's prior experience includes 13 years in various executive and senior management roles for Allstate Insurance Company, responsible for Property & Casualty and Allstate Financial human resources across 14 US regions and Allstate Canada, including the 1,200+ agency owner workforce.

Amy completed PhD coursework in Applied/Experimental Social and Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Saint Louis University and holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Kansas.

Bob joined Atlantic Street in July 2019 with a background in driving organic and acquisition growth in private equity backed and publicly traded companies.

Prior to joining Atlantic Street as an Operating Advisor, Bob led the midstream energy asset management and investment team at Macquarie's North American infrastructure funds, serving on the Boards of Directors for portfolio companies IMTT and Leaf River Energy Center. In this role, he directed organic and acquisitive growth and restructuring initiatives. Prior to his time at Macquarie, Bob led the global mergers & acquisitions team for Spectra Energy, a Fortune 500 energy company based in Houston, Texas. As a principal, Bob has executed over $13 billion in mergers, acquisitions and restructuring transactions. Bob started his career as an investment banker and private equity fundraiser and Credit Suisse/Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette. Bob graduated with honors and with distinction from The Pennsylvania State University and has an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School.

Maurice possesses 29 years of leadership experience. Recently, he held the position of Chief Transformation Officer at Coastal Waste & Recycling. Following his military service, Maurice commenced his career at Republic Services, gaining comprehensive knowledge of the waste industry, particularly through mergers and acquisitions. Maurice’s consistent delivery of revenue growth and cost reductions through enhanced operational efficiencies earned him multiple positions of increasing responsibility across various divisions. Maurice holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Louisville, which he obtained in 2009.

Meghan has over 20 years of experience in the public sector, private equity backed technology companies, and public technology companies.

Meghan Norwood has led global operations organizations across the technology industry. She has been in technology for over 20 years, leading and integrating teams through 6 acquisitions and one exit, focusing on high customer service levels around the business, from implementations to custom software delivery to support. Meghan has a passion for internal operations, from resource and footprint optimization, leadership development, and efficient processes and technologies to enable an organization's profitable success. She is passionate about technology as an enabler to customers' success, team engagement, and high growth organizations. She graduated with honors from Loyola University in Maryland with her BA and earned her MBA from University of New Hampshire.

He brings over a decade of private equity backed operating experience serving in senior operations and strategy leadership roles across numerous companies in various industries to include: oilfield services, trucking, retail, and specialty distribution. Prior to his career in the private sector, Jamie spent nine years in the United States Marine Corps, deploying around the world leading Marine Raider, Reconnaissance, and Infantry units. Jamie received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2013 and a B.S. in English from the United States Naval Academy in 2001; he resides in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife and son.

Susan joins Atlantic Street Capital, as Governance Advisor, to launch the first private equity firm effort to recruit women for portfolio executive positions, company boards, and customer advisory boards.

Susan recently retired as Chair and Co-Founder of the WomenCorporateDirectors (WCD) Foundation; the only global membership organization and community of women corporate directors. WCD has over 2,500 members and 80 chapters located around the world. She is the President and CEO of PartnerCom Corporation, and co-founded OnBoard Bootcamp (OBB), an insider’s guide on how to be selected to a corporate, private company, or advisory board director position, and the Belizean Grove, a preeminent community and retreat for leading women who share knowledge and connections.

As a Westinghouse/Group W TV correspondent covering the White House and Capitol Hill, Susan was the first woman and one of the youngest to head a Washington TV bureau. Susan then became the first TV journalist to be chosen as a White House Fellow where she worked for both Vice President Nelson Rockefeller and Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. Her considerable consumer products experience includes positions as the Director of Communications for the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and for McNeil Consumer Products. Deciding to become an entrepreneur, Susan founded MasterMedia, Ltd., the only company to combine publishing with a speaker’s bureau.

In her capacity as a corporate and nonprofit director, Susan has served on or created advisory boards for numerous organizations. Susan has also served on Presidential Commissions, Boards, and Foundations. Susan is a board member of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties. Susan’s active involvement in The Preservation Society of Newport County is longstanding; currently she chairs The Elms Committee. She is also a member of the C200, International Women’s Forum, and the Council on Foreign Relations.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College, a Master of Arts in Public and International Affairs from George Washington University, and completed an Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School. An effective public speaker, Susan addresses groups around the world, including leading business schools and national and international conferences. Her writing consists of seven books, including Women on Board: Insider Secrets to Getting on a Board and Succeeding as a Director, and the current book she is co-authoring titled, Betrayed: A Survivors Guide to Lying, Cheating & Double Dealing.

She has written or been featured in numerous articles including International Herald Tribune, Businessweek, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Directors and Boards, The Financial Times, and others. Her on-air interview experience includes Oprah, The Today Show, CBS Evening News, CNN, and many others.

Susan has received numerous awards and honors including an Honorary Doctorate of Law from Wheaton College, and WCD’s Visionary Award for Strategic Leadership.

Harvard Business School is writing a case study on how Susan and co-founders created WCD and sold it to KPMG which has turned it into a non-profit.

Prior to joining Atlantic Street, Kevin served as the Fund Controller and Chief Compliance Officer of ICP Group, a lower-mid market firm based in Dallas, TX, overseeing all the finance and compliance matters. Before ICP, he was the Fund Controller for Stronghold Resource Partners, an upstream oil and gas firm in Dallas. Kevin also worked at MUFG Capital Analytics as a Fund Controller in their Portfolio Administration group, overseeing a team focused on cash operations and valuation reporting. He began his career at PwC, in their tax practice focusing on international mobility. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters in the Science of Accounting from Texas Tech University. He is a licensed CPA in Texas.
